The vent tab inserts fit snug in place of the OEM vent tabs chrome accent of the 4runner. They provide a nice touch of color to the vents. Many colors are available. Fits years 2014-2024. Sold in sets of 4 covers.

A set of 4 vent tab inserts, which fit in place of the chrome accent. These are not replacements for the vent tabs themselves, only the accent on them.

The inserts are 3D printed. Due to the nature of 3D prints, there may be slight imperfections on surface areas. However, we provided you with parts that are as perfect as possible and consistently matched.

Do not leave the inserts on the top of your dash in the hot sun; there is a chance they may warp. When installed on the vent tabs, they will not warp. 

The inserts come with a small tool for removing the OEM vent tab inserts. The tool just ensures a flat, uniform connection between the sticky tape in the tool and the vent tab insert. The vent tabs will come out easily and undamaged. 

To use the tool, make sure the protective label is removed from the sticky pad on the inside of the tool, then put it over the tab so the sticky tape on the inside of the tool contacts the tab insert. Pull it quickly off. This action will pull the vent tab insert off with it. If the tab insert doesn’t come out, try pushing on the tool for about 15 seconds then pull. If you still can’t get it, use a fresh sticky pad. 

It is also possible, but more difficult, to get them out using a piece of very sticky tape.

The new inserts are shipped inside of a hard case for protection. Push them into the slot to install.

Store the OEM inserts in the case.
