Climate Control Knobs: Care and Installation Instructions
Thank you for purchasing your climate control knobs! They arrive on a stand for safe shipping, which you can also use to store your OEM knobs. Scan the QR code to see the installation video. We strongly suggest you watch the install video; It goes over the three-knob installation, followed by the dual-knob install.
Removing OEM Control Knobs
1. Grip and Pull: Hold the textured rubber band and pull straight out. Watch for the orange light bar, which may come loose.
2. Remove Knob Cover: Push from the inside to detach the cover. For knobs with a push button, remove similarly.
Installing New Covers (Solid & Push Button) If you ordered the whole knobs skip to step 3.
1. Position the Base: Ensure tabs on the base are facing up and the light bar (on three-knob setups) posts are correctly oriented. Be very careful with the tabs, they are brittle until the knob is installed. Do not force anything.
2. Attach the Accent: Press the new accent piece firmly onto the base.
3. Install the Light Bar: If you have the three-knob setup, place the light bar between the long posts, curved corner facing up. Slide down until it aligns with the top of the cover. If you mixed up the bars, the middle one is slightly wider and will not fit the end knobs. Forcing it in could break the accent.
4. Reattach the Knob: Push the knob onto the control, ensuring the posts/tabs align. Apply firm pressure until it snaps in securely.
Installing the Push Button
1. Orientation: Install the push button with the light and text facing up. The small ridge on the button must fit into a groove at the top.
2. Installation: Gently wiggle while pressing down to slide it into place.
